The firm services a diverse client base and offers a fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager (Business Services / Tax) to take the next step in their career.

The Role:

You will manage a portfolio of clients and support the partners on strategic matters. This is a hands-on, client-facing role where your technical knowledge and communication skills will be key.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT
  • Providing strategic tax planning and structuring advice
  • Liaising directly with clients on compliance and advisory matters
  • Reviewing and mentoring junior and intermediate staff
  • Supporting partners on business structuring, asset protection, and other advisory services
  • Managing ATO correspondence, resolving queries, and ensuring timely lodgements

 

What You Bring:

  • Minimum 4-5+ years’ experience in public practice accounting in Australia
  • CA or CPA qualified, or nearing completion
  • Strong technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, or similar accounting software
